I would discourage your local franchise or operators from using an HOURLY rate for quotation purposes and use a flat rate instead. My quoted estimate and actual amount billed was grossly disproportionate. I drove separately with the moving truck to my destination and the initial leg of the trip along with the packing and unpacking by the professional movers were excellent. Unfortunately, I feel like I was taken advantaged of with the truck's return to its home city of Athens, GA after the unloading was completed. While the initial move from Athens, GA to Norcross, GA took only 1 hours and 10 minutes, the return trip was billed as 2.5 hours. At an hourly rate of $175, I feel like I was taken advantage of by at least 1 hour ($175). I will make it my personal lifelong mission to tell my friends and all those around me to stay away from Two Men and a Truck services when given an hourly payment plan instead of a flat rate. To be fair, the movers themselves were professional and courteous and took care of my belongings in packing, loading, unloading and unpacking. My complaint, if any, is with the amount billed for the services - specifically, being charged and extra $175 for the time for truck's return (no traffic whatsoever on the day of my move).

My appointment was somehow lost from the system; however, when I called to check on arrival time, a crew was assembled and sent to my house within an hour and half. The mover's were excellent and very nice. They made my move so much less stressful!

The 3 gentlemen who moved us were phenominal. They were kind, considerate, professional, and took great care to protect my furniture. I appreciated their expertise with the entire process. I will request those 3 gentlemen in the future if I need your services. Also, my sister will request them later this month on a move for her. I have two NEW WHITE sets of queen mattress and boxsprings, and I did not want them to get dirty during the move, or while in storage. The lady I spoke with to make reservations did not make me aware that mattress and boxspring bags were available to order and have sent with the movers. I didn't ask about them because I thought the mattresses and boxsprings would be wrapped in the clear shrink wrap by movers. When I learned that was not the case, the mover kindly checked with his office to request that they be delivered to the moving site. None were available at that time. The movers did the best they could to wrap the bottom of the mattresses/boxsprings. However, that will not keep dust off them while in storage.

I'm sorry, due to my father's death, I was not on site when the move took place, as I intended to be. My daughter, however, was very pleased with your service. Who knew we were going to need it even more than when I initially made the appointment? It took a bit longer than I'd hope, but was a Godsend. Thanks!

Reported damage to office almost two weeks ago and an adjustrer came out several days later and still have not heard from owner( it has been over a week). While everyone seemed friendly this has been entirely too long to not have any type of follow-up.

Our team that moved us were absolute professionals and handled a move that had been quoted for 8 hours in just about 3! The four men that came handled themselves in a very courteous manner and honored every request we had without any gripes. I will recommend this company to any and all who need movers!

Keep cell phones in the truck

Ask if furniture placement in room is OK before leaving, or in the case of a big bed, before the mattresses are put on the frame

I will call again for my next move. It was so nice to be able to relax and let professionals move my things instead of worrying that my cousin and his friend were going to drop my furniture and break it into a pile of firewood.

We have used Two Men and a Truck before and have been very pleased with the care that they took of our furniture as well as the price. This time we had a big move that required 2 days. The movers worked so hard and were very careful with our furniture.

The movers did an excellent job. They worked quickly and efficiently and took great care of my belongings. I am very satisfied and will use Two Men and a Truck for future moves.

The one complaint that I have is that they were quite late (supposed to be there at 11am, got there around 1pm). I understand that their previous move took longer than expected, which was unavoidable, but I would have liked to have been informed that they were running late.

was disappointed that there were no boxes sent out, after having nice conversation with the person on the phone who took the order.... it took us much longer to carry dishes, clothing etc.. up 5 flights of stairs... they did not send a truck large enough.. so the movers had make many more trips than needed... up the stairs.. and the it took twice as long as estimated on phone...

The movers themselves did an outstanding job. Our challenge was we had no information that their arrival time had changed by almost 3 hours. We had a time frame that was jeopardized so we ended up renting a Uhaul when 2.5 hours had passed without any information as to why the team was not on site as planned. I can appreciate that it is difficult to predict the time - but it was difficult for us to plan without any updates or way to contact the office.

We have had many very good experiences with Two men and a Truck.
However, this time the truck had difficulty on Hwy I 20 which delayed the move 2 hours +. We were ony thankful no one was hurt and our furniture not damaged. Could this difficulty have been prevented with better maintenance of the truck?

Brian and his partner (I forgot his name) were great on moving day! They were extremely helpful and got my move done very quickly, even in 100 degree weather! Two Men & a Truck charges very decent rates, and I got way more for my money than I expected. I was referred by my roommate who recently also moved, and I will be referring TMAAT from now on! Thanks!

Our movers, Bryan and Sidney were wonderful! They worked non-stop moving my daughter and her two roommates furniture and boxes from one house to another rental on what was one of the HOTTEST days in Athens. Bryan and Sidney carefully wrapped and moved each piece of furniture. I would request Bryan and Sidney for our next move!

I got a quote for 2 hrs job $115 X 2= $230. But, I did not have that amount of stuffs to cover 2 hrs time (one sofa, one love seat, one dressing table, one small wooden file cabinet, one dryer). The work is actually for 1 hr. The mover made that in one and half hour to cover up time, and I paid for 2hrs job ($240). If it is for minimum 2 hrs contract, then I should not have signed for Two men and a Truck. Even, customer service did not tell me at beginning about minimum contract for 2 hrs, though I got the quotation even 3 weeks earlier. At the last time (2 days earlier on Saturday), customer service is telling me that we have minimum 2hrs contract. This is not written in my quotation paper and also in my bill. Also, I was not informed earlier about that. If it was so, I have received better deals from other local companies for my work before dealing with Two Men and a Truck.

I was told that they men would be here at 10 and two hours later and no one showed up I tried to contact the office and when I finally got in touch with someone and told them it was 12:30 and noone had showed up she seemed surprised: When the men FINALLY showed up at 1:30 they were fine, but it completely ruined my day and I had to cancel two other appointments due this poor scheduling: I understand maybe a 30 minute difference in time but 3 1/2 hours with no call to let me know so that I could have done other things was totally unprofessional and I would really think twice before using them again due to this. One guy was really nice and worked really hard, the other sort of tagged along - I don't blame the movers but the one scheduling needs to do a lot better at communicating with customers!!

Last time we got two men and a truck they moved us in and out of our apartment in 2 hours. This time (the drive was 20 minutes longer) they took almost five. It was completely unexpected. It wasn't like the movers were riding the clock or anything they just weren't as fast. I know we must have lucked out the first time but it was very disapointing.

This was the third time I have used Two Men & A Truck, and overall I have been satisfied with the service. Everyone is nice, helpful, and I haven't had any damage to my property during any move with them. That being said, I was least satisfied with this last move. One of the movers seemed to be new, and I heard the lead mover explaining things to him frequently. The move took over twice as long as my last move and seemed less efficient in general--I'm not sure if this was a training issue or because of some other reason, but I will contact the local office to discuss with them.

The movers that I had were courteous, respectful, and quite helpful. They asked for the bedskirts before they put the bed together, which was an unexpected but pleasant surprise. I will certainly recommend this company to anyone I know that is moving. Thank you for providing such amazing service.

I usually can't speak anything BUT positively of the movers, however, my recent experience was not the best. The movers were late (which has happened before) but they didn't apologize nor did they accurately adjust the moving time. In fact, I felt that I paid a lot more than I should have considering they started late and waited in the truck for 10 minutes before "stopping time" to give me my bill. This has NEVER happened before and I have used two men and a truck about 4 times. I appreciate the service, but either I got a couple of bad movers, or before this I had EXCELLENT movers.
